Shrek

Shrek, a green ogre with tusks, lives peacefully alone in his cottage in the forest until he is suddenly overrun by countless fairy-tale characters banished from the kingdom of the vain and bitter Lord Farquaad. To restore order and reclaim his home, Shrek promises Farquaad he will rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona from the clutches of a fearsome dragon and bring her as his bride. With the help of a clever donkey who will do anything for Shrek except stay quiet for a moment, the ogre keeps his promise - but things take an unexpected turn, becoming wonderfully tangled and complicated, until everything ends up quite different from what was planned.
