Šakvické Ďůrkobraní

Šakvické Ďůrkobraní is a traditional event where local wine cellars - "ďůrky" - open their doors directly in the courtyards of winemakers. Visitors can taste wine and burčák with the winemaker in their cellar and chat about how their wine is made. This year the cellars open on 26 September.

The event starts at 12:00 in front of the Šakvice Sokol building on Hlavní Street no. 53, where each visitor receives a starter package. It includes a tasting glass, a map, a pen, 25 tasting vouchers, and a ticket for the afternoon cellar tour and evening entertainment. The vouchers are redeemed directly in the cellars: 1 sample of burčák (1 dl) = 1 voucher, 1 sample of wine (0.5 dl) = 1-2 vouchers. Refreshments will also be available.

During the tastings in the cellars, live music accompanies the event. In the evening, the celebration continues with dancing in the Sokol hall, where wine, burčák, and other refreshments will be served.
