Film Club: Love

Anna, a thirty-year-old neurologist, never received love from her mother and searches for it in others. In relationships, she craves a solid foundation, but in reality only repeats her mother's manipulative behavior - compensating for her unmet need for acceptance with excessive care for her patients.

As a treating physician, she encounters Jan, terminally ill with ALS, and his wife Mariana. She tries to make them dependent on her help, yet she is fascinated by the purity of their relationship - something she has never experienced herself. This encounter will fundamentally change her life.
