For five years, young director Pepa Lubojacki documented her own family's story - specifically how addiction stripped her brother and two cousins of their relationships, sense of safety, health, and home. But what if behind it all lies not addiction itself, but something that began much earlier?

The film blends intimate diary footage, animated photographs, stylized memories, and graphic collages. The result is both raw and playful. As director and sister, Pepa faces a question without an easy answer: where does love end and control begin? To rescue or to let go?

This brutally honest film won the award for best documentary at the Berlin Film Festival.
