CW, TW: sexualized violence

Five young men who knew what they wanted to do. One girl who had no idea what awaited her. A trial that changed perspectives on consent and shook Spain. A docudrama inspired by a real case that revealed how easily truth can be questioned - and how hard it is to defend.

In 2016, Spain was shaken by a case known as La Manada - The Pack. The trial that followed sparked a nationwide debate about consent, responsibility, and how easily a victim's experience can be disputed.

The docudrama by Spanish playwright Jordi Casanovas was created exclusively from authentic court testimonies. No fiction. No rewriting reality. Only words that were actually spoken.

Directed by Adéla Stodolová, the production does not focus on reconstructing the act, but on the mechanisms that led to it. It examines group psychology, collective pressure, and the moment when an individual becomes part of the pack. At the same time, it gives space to the survivor's perspective and questions about boundaries, the courage to say no, and the ability to listen to another person.

The Pack does not use explicit depictions of violence. Instead of shock, it offers a focused look at what happens in words, in silence, in the power of the group, and in our own ideas about guilt, consent, and responsibility.
