The 24th edition of the Emil Zátopek Memorial Run takes place on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The race is traditionally held on the Saturday closest to his birth date, 19 September 1922.

The event honours the legacy of the legendary athlete and one of the greatest Olympians of the 20th century.

The Wallachian Open-Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm is the largest open-air museum in the Czech Republic and one of the oldest of its kind in Europe. Dozens of authentic timber buildings - farmsteads, chapels, mills - were relocated here from the Wallachian countryside and reassembled across a sprawling site. The museum regularly hosts folk festivals, craft fairs and seasonal events throughout the year.
