Light for Two
Scout Institute in Rybárna, Prague
A visual and musical performance about the fragility of democracy.
Based on the novel "Two of Everything" by Swedish author Rose Lagercrantz, the story follows two children whose friendship sustains them even as they are forced to leave home because of war. They learn to face uncertainty and find courage. The themes of separation, migration, and uncertainty remain relevant today.
Spielraum Kollektiv creates live images on a meotare, combines them with music and stage action to form a poetic collage of words, light, and images that opens space for children's imagination. The performance raises questions about how historical experiences of violence and division shape the present.
The project brings together an international team from the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia, and Serbia.
Recommended for audiences aged 9 and up.
