Anja Breien is undoubtedly one of the most significant figures in Norwegian film history alongside Joachim Trier. In 2015, we presented her classic 1975 drama Wives at Ponrepo, to which she later returned in two sequels.

The 1979 film Dědictví is an intimate psychological drama oscillating between sentimentality and irony - a story that reveals the characters and relationships of people bound together by the settling of the estate of a small shipping company's owner, who died at just 54 years old.
