Who is Mrs. Meda? What is milled in the Owl Mills in the middle of Prague? What are the sculptures in the courtyard for? And where did the mill wheel disappear to? Who sits on the big chair in the Vltava - surely not those penguins?!

The workshop guides children through the story of Meda Mládková and her Museum Kampa in the Owl Mills on the Lesser Town, using short artistic sketches and creative activities.

The workshop is designed for younger children (ages 4-7), lasting 60-90 minutes.

About the venue: Museum Kampa

Museum Kampa is a private modern art gallery housed in the historic Sova's Mills on Kampa Island in the Lesser Town. Founded in 1999 by Meda Mládková as the home of the Jan and Meda Mládek Foundation collection, it holds an extensive body of works by František Kupka, pioneer of abstract painting, and Cubist sculptor Otto Gutfreund, alongside Central European modern art of the 20th century. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions of Czech and international artists.
