Christmas Soul Repair at Werichova Vila

Soul Repair is an original show in which actress and writer Martina Preissová and singer-actress Dáša Zázvůrková together address everyday worries through duets, feuilletons, stand-up, and solo chansons. This Christmas revival includes several Christmas songs.

Martina Preissová reads from her own books: the short-story collection "How I Was Not on Lions" and the story novel "Do They Have Glasses in Heaven?". The audience will also hear songs created in the shared workshop of both protagonists.

Martina Preissová has been a permanent member of the drama ensemble of the National Theatre in Prague since 2000 and has been twice nominated for the Thalia Prize (1999, 2004). Dáša Zázvůrková studied non-verbal and comedy theatre at HAMU under Boris Hybner and Italian studies at Charles University. From 2003 to 2014 she was an external member of the SEMAFOR theatre and in 2007 played the role of Vanilka in the jazz opera "Well-Paid Walk" at the National Theatre. She currently focuses on original work and the project "Tribute to Hana Hegerová".
