Luděk Malár & Blues4You

Luděk Malár is a Zlín-based singer, musician, author and producer who has been active on the Czech music scene for several decades. He founded and long directed the Zlíntalent competition (later Czechtalent), which launched the careers of artists including Dasha, Petr Bende and Tomáš Klus. As a producer, he has worked on more than thirty albums, including Dasha's debut and two albums by Tomáš Klus. He owns the ESO Recording studio in Zlín.

In recent years, Malár has increasingly returned to his own creative work. He has released the albums RESET and Jen tak, along with several singles such as Jedna noc, Jsi moje Barbie, Pianista, Co tě tak trápí?, Prokletý pátek and Svlíkáš se jako had.

His current concert project is Luděk Malár & Blues4You, built on Czech blues, original songs and live performance. The blues foundation meets rock, melody and distinctive Czech lyrics.
