Demand the Impossible + Debate — Venuše Ve Švehlovce, Prague

A generational statement on freedom, identity, and social expectations.

This production moves between physical theatre and performance. It draws from the creative team's improvisations and the philosophy of Slavoj Žižek, specifically his book "Demand the Impossible". Movement, words, and the energy of the performers interweave in direct contact with the audience, with dynamic, pop-cultural, and urban aesthetics forming the foundation of its language.

Through humour, movement, music, and pop-culture references, the creative team explores feminism, identity, social stereotypes, and the search for stability in a polarized world. Can we change the world through collective effort? Is a shared goal enough, or does each of us demand something different?

"First, I have no money. Second, my freedom ends where another's begins. Third, I don't agree with myself and I prepared a speech! I forgot it."

A debate follows the performance.
