MKZ (Městská kulturní zařízení - the city's cultural organisation) brings together several venues under one umbrella: the House of Culture, Litoměřice Castle, the K. H. Mácha Theatre, Kino Máj cinema, the Zahrada Čech exhibition grounds, and a new Cultural and Creative Centre. The K. H. Mácha Theatre is around 200 years old, making it one of the oldest theatre buildings in Bohemia.
