Gala Opera and Ballet in Municipal House

The Dvořák Symphony Orchestra Prague performs in chamber arrangement alongside leading Czech opera singers and ballet soloists - a total of 23 performers and a conducting pianist. The ballet soloists will perform in period costumes.

The concert programme features works by W. A. Mozart (selections from "Eine kleine Nachtmusik", duets and arias from "Don Giovanni", "The Magic Flute" and "The Marriage of Figaro"), P. I. Tchaikovsky (excerpts from the ballet "Swan Lake"), A. Dvořák (aria from the opera "Rusalka" and a Slavonic dance), and compositions by J. Strauss (waltzes, arias from the operettas "Die Fledermaus" and "The Gypsy Baron", and the Radetzky March).
