Masaryk Museum in Hodonín commemorates the 89th anniversary of the death of the first Czechoslovak president with an open house day.

Admission to the permanent exhibition and the exhibition "Masaryk's Path to Democracy" is free. The programme includes a companion talk "Masaryk the World Traveller" and a family game TanGraM.

About the venue: Masaryk Museum in Hodonín

The museum occupies a baroque manor house built in 1642 - the oldest surviving secular building in Hodonín. It holds the only permanent exhibition in Moravia dedicated to T. G. Masaryk, the first Czechoslovak president and a native of the town. The tour traces his entire life and is complemented by audiovisual programmes and a closing film. The museum also runs the Europa hall on Národní třída and branches including the Slavic fortification at Mikulčice and the regional museum in Kyjov.
