About
Żywiołak is a Polish folk rock band from Warsaw, founded in 2005 by Robert Jaworski and Robert Wasilewski. Their music draws on pre-Christian Slavic mythology and folk demonology, blending hurdy-gurdy, renaissance fiddle, shawm and throat singing into a sound that defies easy genre labels. Regarded as pioneers of experimental folk in Poland, the band has had their music featured in games such as The Witcher II, World of Tanks and League of Legends.
