Zita Furková is a Slovak actress, director and screenwriter born in 1940. She trained at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and worked across several Slovak theatres before co-founding Divadlo Astorka Korzo '90 in Bratislava, where she also served as the first artistic director. Her career spans theatre, film and television, with a particular strength in tragicomic character roles.
