µ-Ziq is the stage name of British electronic musician and producer Mike Paradinas, active since the early 1990s. He founded the label Planet Mu and his output spans IDM, breakbeat, drill'n'bass and experimental electronica. His best-known album remains 1997's Lunatic Harness, which sold over 100,000 copies, and alongside Richard D. James (Aphex Twin) he helped pioneer the drill'n'bass genre.
A remastered reissue of Tango N'Vectif's debut album from 1993 was released on the Planet Mu label.
In November 2026, an expanded edition of Tango N'Vectif (The Complete Sessions) is released with bonus remixes and unreleased material.
As part of a British tour, µ-Ziq performed a concert at the CableFest event in Stoke-on-Trent.
Shortly after the ambient album 1979, he released the companion album Manzana, inspired by memories of Spain.
The album 1979 was released, continuing the previous retro project 1977 and drawing from childhood memories of Spain.
