zakázanÝovoce is a Czech punk-rock band from Říčany near Prague, playing since 2005. Over two decades they have released eight studio albums, played more than 1,200 concerts and rank among the most-streamed rock acts in the country. The band's backbone remains two of its three founding members - frontman and bassist Jarda "Yaris" Sládeček and guitarist Štěpán Soukup.
The band released on January 23, 2026 their eighth studio album Mezi láskou a nenávistí, which continues the celebration of 20 years of existence and contains 12 songs.
From March to June 2026 the band goes on a spring club tour Mezi láskou a nenávistí tour, which will culminate on June 6 with the album premiere on the Prague Střelecký Island.
In 2025 the band celebrated 20 years of existence with two special tours (spring and autumn, 20 concerts in total) and the YouTube channel surpassed 50 million views.
In summer 2024 a new drummer Filip Wintr joined the band and they started recording material for a new album.
In August 2024 the band released the single Miami shot loosely inspired by the series La Casa de Papel, whose music video was filmed in Florida and the Bahamas.
