About

Yukio Mishima (1925–1970) was a Japanese novelist, playwright, and essayist, widely regarded as one of the most important Japanese writers of the 20th century. His works, including The Temple of the Golden Pavilion and Confessions of a Mask, blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern themes. He died by ritual seppuku following a failed coup attempt.
