Vojtěch Vondráček
About
Vojtěch Vondráček (born 17 September 1994 in Prague) is a Czech actor, animator and composer. He trained in animation and photography before graduating from the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theatre at DAMU under director Jan Mikulášek, and has been a member of Divadlo Na zábradlí since the 2019/2020 season. A competitive fencer in his youth who reached the world championships, he brings an equally broad range to his artistic work - composing theatre music, narrating audiobooks and playing violin and bass guitar. He came to wider public attention as the psychopathic Lukáš Kulhánek in the thriller miniseries Stockholmský syndrom (2020) and earned a Divadelní noviny Award nomination for his stage role of Lucien Chardon in Ztracené iluze (2021).

At the PIIF festival in 2022, Vondráček received the award for best male acting performance for his role in the production Poslední den patriarchátu.

For his role as Lucien Chardon in the production Ztracené iluze at the Na zábradlí Theatre, Vondráček was nominated for the Theatre News Award for male acting performance.
