Vesna is a Czech all-female band founded in 2016 by singer-songwriter Patricie Kaňok Fuxová at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. The five-piece - with members from Czechia, Slovakia and Russia - blends Slavic folk traditions with pop, hip-hop and electronics, singing in multiple languages at once. They broke through internationally at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, finishing tenth with "My Sister's Crown", which became the second most-streamed Czech song abroad in history. Since then they have released their third album Muzika Slavica and launched the international Female Anthems project, collaborating with female artists across Europe.
Vesna announced her biggest concert to date - a show at Forum Karlín in Prague scheduled for October 22, 2026.
As part of the Female Anthems project, Vesna released the single "She Dances with the Sun" in collaboration with Latvian band Tautumeitas.
Vesna launched the international project Female Anthems and first released the single "The Silence & The Storm" with Polish band Lor.
After a sold-out tour, Vesna announced that she will not perform in Prague for at least a year.
Vesna released her third studio album Muzika Slavica and completed a European tour in Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Poland, and Czech Republic.
