Tomáš Kočko & Orchestr
Tomáš Kočko & Orchestr will perform their new folk-metal album Postřižiny PERPERUNA with guests from SSOGE and opera singer Veronika Rovná.
Veronika Rovná (née Holbová) is a Czech soprano from Karviná who has been a permanent soloist at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava since the 2019/2020 season. She trained under Eva Dřízgová-Jirušová at the Janáček Conservatory and the University of Ostrava, where she also teaches. In 2024 she sang six leading roles in a landmark cycle of all eight completed Smetana operas - the only such complete production anywhere in the world. Beyond the opera stage she works with Collegium 1704 and appears at international festivals and opera houses abroad.
Veronika Rovná participated as a guest soloist on the album PERPERUNA by Tomáš Kočko & Orchestr, released on February 2, 2026.
In February 2026, Veronika Rovná made her debut with the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra.
At the Ostrava National Theatre, Rovná sang the role of Anai in the premiere of Rossini's grand opera Moses and Pharaoh (February 2026).
A recording of Dvořák's cantata The Spectre's Bride with Prague Philharmonia conducted by Petr Altrichter, made in autumn 2024, is being released in 2026 by PARMA Recordings.
Veronika Rovná performed as a soloist at the Advent Concert of the Prague Philharmonic Choir at Rudolfinum (December 13, 2025).
