The Venus of Věstonice is a ceramic statuette of a female figure dating to approximately 29,000 years ago, discovered in 1925 near Dolní Věstonice in Moravia. It is one of the oldest known fired-clay objects in the world and an iconic artefact of the Upper Palaeolithic. The discovery is associated with archaeologist Karel Absolon. The original is held at the Moravian Museum in Brno.
