Ventolin Forever is the expanded live incarnation of Ventolin, the one-man electronic project of David Doubek (b. 1971, Rakovník), active on the Czech scene since 2007. Doubek performs live on vintage samplers, analogue synthesizers and archaic drum machines - no laptop in sight - while also lecturing in cultural anthropology at Charles University in Prague. He broke through with the viral hit Disco Science from the album Vitajte (2017), and in February 2025 released his fourth album Všechno nejlepší, the most genre-diverse record of his career.
Ventolin released his fourth album Všechno nejlepší on February 21, 2025 on the Bumbum Satori label - the most genre-diverse recording of his career, ranging from acid techno through jungle and disco to hip-hop.
On the album Všechno nejlepší, a guest rapper appears for the first time in Ventolin's discography - MC Gey on the track Fešák.
In November 2024, Ventolin released the single Když jedu z hub, which preceded the fourth album and was enthusiastically received by fans.
In 2022, Doubek together with members of the theater Nejhodnější medvídci founded a new musical group Ametyst.
For summer 2026, Ventolin has a packed schedule: he will perform, among other things, at the festivals Rock for People, Pohoda (Trenčín), Colours of Ostrava and Trutnoff.
