About
Václav Neckář is a Czech singer and actor who rose to fame in the 1960s as a pop performer. He is internationally known for his lead role in Jiří Menzel's Oscar-winning film Closely Watched Trains (1966). He has continued performing as a live music artist throughout the decades.
