About
Udo Dirkschneider (born 6 April 1952 in Wuppertal) is a German heavy metal singer whose raspy, instantly recognisable voice shaped the sound of Accept throughout the 1970s and 80s. He left Accept in 1987 and founded U.D.O., a band that has since released nineteen studio albums. He also performs under the Dirkschneider banner, a project dedicated exclusively to Accept-era material.

U.D.O. announced the Triple Anniversary Tour 2027 - a European tour celebrating Udo Dirkschneider's 75th birthday, the band's 40th anniversary, and the release of their 20th studio album via Reigning Phoenix Music.
