Trippie Redd, born Michael Lamar White II on June 18, 1999, in Canton, Ohio, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He broke through with the 2017 mixtape A Love Letter to You - an independent release that still cracked the Billboard 200 - and went on to place four consecutive albums in the top four of that chart. Credited as a pioneer of emo rap and the rage subgenre, he has accumulated over 14 billion streams across his career.
