Til Schweiger (born 1963) is a German actor, director and producer who broke through in the 1990s with films like Knockin' on Heaven's Door. He reached international audiences as Sgt. Hugo Stiglitz in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds (2009). In Germany he is best known as a filmmaker of popular comedies - his Keinohrhasen (2007) was one of the biggest domestic box-office hits in years.
