Thin Ice are a five-piece hardcore band from Schweinfurt, Bavaria, formed in 2019. They have released the Keep It Alive EP (2021), the debut full-length A Matter of Time (2024), and the five-track EP Happiness Ain't Meant For All in May 2026, playing shows across Europe and Indonesia along the way. Their sound sits between New York hardcore and punk, with Terror, Madball, and Incendiary as stated influences.

Thin Ice released a new EP Happiness Ain't Meant For All (5 tracks) on vinyl via Subculture For Life Records and on cassette via DITS Records on May 8, 2026.

In June 2026, the band performed a series of shows to support the EP release, including a stop in Plzen (Anděl Café, June 18) and other cities in Germany.

In April 2026, the band released the title single from the upcoming EP and gave an interview to No Echo, where they described the themes of the new lyrics.

In summer 2025, Thin Ice performed several shows alongside legendary bands Slapshot, Sheer Terror, and Kill Your Idols.

In July 2024, the band organized a release show for their debut album A Matter of Time at Stattbahnhof Schweinfurt.
