Then Comes Silence are a Swedish gothic post-punk trio from Stockholm, founded in 2012 by vocalist and bassist Alex Svenson. The current lineup - Svenson, drummer Jonas Fransson and guitarist Hugo Zombie - has released eight studio albums, most recently Trickery (2024) on Metropolis Records, and built a reputation as one of Europe's hardest-touring bands in the goth and dark rock scene.
The band released the single 'Judgement Day' (August 7, 2026) as the first preview of the upcoming album Requiem Ballroom, which is set to be released in November 2026.
In February 2025, the compilation Boxed was released - a collection of outtakes, alternative versions and rarities from various albums by the band.
In April 2024, the band released their seventh studio album Trickery on Metropolis Records and subsequently embarked on an extensive tour of the USA and Canada.
On the American tour for the album Trickery, the band performed in 21 cities across the USA and Canada alongside Vision Video, Aurelio Voltaira and Tears For The Dying.
