The Dear Hunter is an American progressive rock band formed in 2006 by Casey Crescenzo after he left the band The Receiving End of Sirens. Hailing from Providence, Rhode Island, the group is best known for its Act I-V concept album series that tells one continuous story. Their sound blends progressive rock with art rock, orchestral arrangements and layered vocal harmonies.
