The Black Dahlia Murder / US + special guest
US metal band The Black Dahlia Murder takes the stage at Futurum Music Bar with a special guest.
The Black Dahlia Murder are an American melodic death metal band from Waterford, Michigan, active since 2001. Their sound draws on Swedish melodeath - blastbeats, guttural vocals, and blindingly fast guitar work - which placed them among the most recognized acts in US extreme metal. After co-founder and frontman Trevor Strnad died in May 2022, the band pressed on: guitarist Brian Eschbach took over vocals, and in September 2024 they released their tenth album, Servitude.
The Black Dahlia Murder announced a joint headlining tour Wrath Across America 2026 with Arch Enemy - 30 stops across North America from October to November 2026, supported by Septicflesh, Crypta and Thrown Into Exile.
Guitarist Brandon Ellis left the band in February 2025; his place was taken by Ryan Knight, who returned to the lineup already for the album Servitude.
The band released their tenth studio album Servitude (Metal Blade Records) - the first recording after the death of Trevor Strnad, with Brian Eschbach in the new role of vocalist.
A North American tour Beg to Serve 2024 took place as a joint headliner with Dying Fetus - over twenty cities from October to November 2024.
On May 11, 2022, the band announced the death of co-founder and frontman Trevor Strnad; guitarist Brian Eschbach subsequently took on the role of lead vocalist.
