
Miro Žbirka: Symphonic Night
A symphonic evening celebrating Miro Žbirka's iconic songs with the Moravian Philharmonic Olomouc, featuring special guest cellist Terezie Kovalová and video art.
Terezie Kovalová (born 1989, Ostrava) is a Czech cellist, singer and music teacher whose 25-year career spans over a hundred recordings in genres from alternative rock to film scores and circus shows. She trained at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava, the Prague Conservatory and HAMU, where she completed a PhD on the digitalization of culture in 2024. Her collaborations include Vladivojna La Chia, David Stypka, the superband Zvíře jménem Podzim and Michal Dvořák's Vivaldianno project; she holds multiple Anděl awards and a Czech Lion for the film score to Arvéd. Her debut solo album ZINKA, a crossover of modern classical and atmospheric electronics, came out in May 2025.
