TankZilla is a two-piece from Eindhoven, Netherlands, formed when guitarist/vocalist Peter van Elderen (ex-Peter Pan Speedrock) teamed up with drummer Marcin Hurkmans (ex-Wolfskop) after their previous bands folded. They play what they call 'stoner blues swamp boogie' - fuzz-heavy riffs driven by a raw, no-frills rock and roll engine. After debuting at Roadburn Festival in 2019, they released their self-titled debut album in 2023 on Heavy Psych Sounds.
TankZilla performed at the Ankerfest 2025 festival in Eindhoven (August 23, 2025).
The debut album 'TankZilla' was released on May 19, 2023 on the Heavy Psych Sounds label on vinyl, CD and digitally.
The band released the third single 'Mutant Freak' along with a music video shot exclusively on a Samsung Galaxy S20 phone.
TankZilla debuted at the Roadburn 2019 festival, where they simultaneously released their first single on 7-inch vinyl.
