Tamae Garateguy is an Argentine director and screenwriter who works primarily in genre cinema. Her debut feature Pompeya (2011) won Best Argentine Film at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival and screened at Toronto, SXSW and beyond. She has since directed more than eight solo features spanning horror, western and crime, with her 2023 film Help premiering at Sitges.
