Takuya Kimura (Japanese: 木村 拓哉, born November 13, 1972 in Tokyo) is a Japanese actor, singer, and television personality with a career spanning four decades. He rose to fame as a member of SMAP - one of the best-selling boy bands in Asia, with 14 number-one albums before the group disbanded in 2016. As a solo artist, all three of his studio albums have debuted at number one on the Japanese Billboard chart, and he remains one of Japan's most in-demand film and TV actors.
