Tadeáš Hoza (born 1994, Kroměříž) is a Czech baritone who trained at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno under Zdeněk Šmukař. Since the 2021/2022 season he has been a soloist - the youngest when he joined - at the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno, and he regularly guests in Prague, Olomouc, Ostrava and České Budějovice. In January 2025 he made his debut at the Opéra Bastille in Paris as Harašta in Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen. Alongside his operatic roles (Papageno, Figaro, Guglielmo, Schaunard, Dr. Falke), he is a permanent member of Václav Luks's Collegium Vocale 1704 and works with Czech Ensemble Baroque, Ensemble Inégal and Musica Florea.
Hoza performed as a soloist at a Brno Philharmonic concert as part of the 70th season (program Calm Sea, Stormy Sea).
In January 2025, he made his debut at the Paris Opéra Bastille as Harašta in Janáček's The Cunning Little Vixen.
In the 2025/2026 season, he sings the role of Le Dancaïre in Bizet's Carmen at the National Theatre Prague (repeat performances in August and September 2025).
In October 2025, he performed with Collegium Vocale 1704 at the opening concert of their jubilee season in Prague; the program will also be heard in Versailles.
He participated in the world premiere of the opera Here I am, Orlando (Ľubica Čekovská / NdB), which received a nomination for the International Opera Awards in the world premiere category.
