Summer cinema Kultovka screens a musical comedy about freedom and rock and roll in 1950s Prague. The story follows young hooligan Bejby, whose outlandish style and music shake up the quiet life around the Internacional hotel.
Sylva Tománková is a Czech dancer and actress born in 1974 in Brno. Straight after her school-leaving exams she landed the lead female role of Alena Prokopová - nicknamed Bejbina - in the musical comedy Šakalí léta (1993), director Jan Hřebejk's debut film, largely on the strength of her dancing. Further film roles never materialised, and she went on to build a career as a professional dancer and choreographer, working with Brno's Taneční divadlo MAXIMVS and the Bratislava dance theatre, and guesting in musicals at Městské divadlo Brno.
