Surviving Derrida is a Mexican documentary film (2026, 78 min.) that, twenty years after the death of philosopher Jacques Derrida, explores his legacy through intimate conversations with those closest to him — his widow Marguerite Derrida, son Pierre Alferi, and friends including Hélène Cixous. Guided by philosopher Avital Ronell, the film is an essay on friendship, loss, and the enduring provocation of Derrida's thought.
