Surma is a Prague-based symphonic progressive metal band founded in 2018 by Czech vocalist Viktorie Surmová and Faroese guitarist Heri Joensen of Týr. Their debut album The Light Within came out in 2020 on Metal Blade Records, with mixing and mastering handled at Jacob Hansen's studio in Denmark.
