Steve McQueen was an American film actor who became one of Hollywood's biggest stars in the 1960s and 70s, known for his cool, understated screen presence. In The Magnificent Seven (1960) he played the gunslinger Vin, an early role that helped launch his career. He later starred in Bullitt and The Great Escape.
