Starbenders are an American glam rock band from Atlanta, Georgia, formed in 2013 by vocalist and guitarist Kimi Shelter and bassist Aaron Lecesne. Their sound blends glam, punk and gothic influences into a theatrical, high-energy rock style with lyrics tackling defiance, addiction and resilience. Signed to Sumerian Records in 2019, they have released the albums Love Potions (2020), Take Back the Night (2023) and The Beast Goes On (2026). The 2023 single "The Game" became their first charting track, peaking at #39 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Starbenders released their fourth studio album The Beast Goes On on February 27, 2026 through Sumerian Records.
The band announced a 32-date headliner tour across the United Kingdom and Europe for summer 2026, which includes a concert in Prague (July 14).
Starbenders completed their first headlining tour across the United Kingdom and Europe in September 2024 as support for Mothicy.
In February 2024, drummer Emily Moon left the band after seven years; she was replaced by Qi Wei, who made her debut on tour with Nita Strauss.
The single "The Game" from the album Take Back the Night reached number 39 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart in December 2023 - the band's first chart success.
