About

SPEED are a hardcore punk band from Sydney, Australia, formed in 2019 by vocalist Jem Siow. Their 2022 debut EP Gang Called Speed debuted at number 5 on the ARIA Charts, and the 2024 album Only One Mode won the ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album. In 2025 they became the first Australian hardcore act to play Coachella.
