Ruel (born Ruel Vincent van Dijk, 29 October 2002) is a London-born, Sydney-raised Australian singer-songwriter who broke through as a teenager with his soul-inflected pop. In 2018 he became the youngest solo artist to win an ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist, and by 2025 he had released three studio albums - 4th Wall (2023), Kicking My Feet (2025) and Kicking My Feet & Screaming (2026) - accumulating over 3 billion streams worldwide.
Ruel released his third studio album Kicking My Feet & Screaming on June 12, 2026 - a sequel to last year's Kicking My Feet - containing 10 new tracks.
Ruel announced an autumn tour Kicking & Screaming across the United Kingdom and Europe, which will take place from October 1 to 30, 2026 with support from singer Sadie Jean.
Ruel completed a North American tour Kicking My Feet Tour with 28 stops, which started on February 9 in Austin and ended on April 8 in Los Angeles.
The second studio album Kicking My Feet was released on October 17, 2025 and debuted at number 6 on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart.
Ruel performed a special headliner concert on the terrace of Sydney Opera House as part of the On the Steps series.
