Roman Franc is a Brno-based photographer born in 1983, trained at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava. He works mainly with unconventional portraiture and staged photography - his group-portrait series have entered the collections of the Library of Congress in Washington and the Moravian Gallery in Brno. He has photographed Václav Havel and the Dalai Lama, and co-authored books including Fenomén Zbrojovka and My Name Is Hungry Buffalo.
