Robert Zemeckis is an American film director and screenwriter whose career spans four decades of Hollywood blockbusters. He is best known for the Back to the Future trilogy, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Forrest Gump, which won six Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. His films have consistently pushed the boundaries of visual effects technology, from motion capture to AI-driven de-aging. His most recent feature, Here (2024), reunited him with Tom Hanks and Robin Wright for the first time since Forrest Gump.
