Robert Redford is an American actor and film director who rose to fame in the 1960s and 70s. He is known for roles in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and All the President's Men, where he played journalist Bob Woodward. He won the Academy Award for Best Director for Ordinary People (1980).
