Renate Reinsve (born 24 November 1987) is a Norwegian actress who broke through internationally with Joachim Trier's The Worst Person in the World (2021), winning the Cannes Best Actress prize - the first Norwegian actress ever to do so. Trained at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, she began her career on stage at Trøndelag Teater in Trondheim. Her role in Trier's Sentimental Value (2025) earned her Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations, and in 2026 she starred in Cristian Mungiu's Fjord, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
