
MFest 2026
The second edition of the MFest music festival on 11 July features headliner Ben Cristovao, Xindl X, Adam Mišík and more, plus a free children's zone and diverse food and drink options.
Poetika is a Czech pop band from the Vysočina region, formed in 2016. Over a decade they released three albums - Trinity (2017), Identity (2022) and Slunce v barvách antracitu (2025) - with tracks like Zkouším žít, Půlnoc and Mám pocit, že tě ztrácím making them one of the most-played acts on Czech radio. The band consists of vocalist and lyricist Ondřej Brejška, keyboardist and producer Daniel Hrdlička, guitarist Dave Matsu and drummer David Nevěčný. Their debut album Trinity went gold in 2019 and earned them a nomination for Discovery of the Year at the Český slavík 2017 poll.
In October 2025, Poetika announced the autumn part of the tour for the album Slunce v barvách antracitu, which includes eight cities: Liberec, Praha, Jihlava, Plzeň, Olomouc, Frýdek-Místek, Pardubice and České Budějovice.
On April 4, 2025, Poetika released the third album Slunce v barvách antracitu under the Universal Music label - 12 tracks divided into two contrasting parts.
The spring tour for the new album, the band started with a concert at the Prague club Roxy and continued in Ostravě and Velkém Meziříčí, the hometown of frontman Ondřej Brejška.
In May 2024, Poetika released the single Měsíc, which preceded the third album, and its music video was filmed on Tenerife.
In the Český slavík 2024 poll, Poetika ranked 30th in the groups category with 2,836 votes.
